Great Beginnings classrooms are joy-filled, Christ-centered environments where learning, creativity, discovery, and growth take place every day! Our nurturing teachers build upon each student's strengths, which helps to lay an academic foundation these little learners build upon.

Great Beginnings students are engaged in age-appropriate activities and academic curricula that foster cooperation, a sense of community, and respect. These aid in the development of self-confidence and self-help skills.

Our Great Beginnings program meets state requirements regarding teacher/student ratios. Teaching practices include:

  • Hands-on, play-based curriculum
  • Bible stories and prayer time
  • Participation in campus traditions
  • Daily communication > Tadpole app
  • Dedicated indoor and outdoor play areas

Schedule / Hours: Great Beginnings is a year-round 5-day/week program with hours from 7:00am - 5:00pm.

Meals / Snacks: Two snacks and a warm lunch are provided daily.

Classroom Cleanliness: Our cleaning protocol meets or exceeds state and local guidelines.

Health / Medical: Goodpasture Christian School has a resident school nurse as well as qualified CPR and first-aid trained personnel.

Campus Safety: We take safety seriously.
  • Entry doors are secure; classrooms with doors to the outside have no re-entry.
  • Windows and doors have protective film installed.
  • Three armed security personnel are on-site.
  • A contingent of faculty and staff have undergone multi-day training.

Goodpasture Christian School is conveniently located in Madison, Tennessee, just a few minutes north of Nashville. Our campus is easily accessible to I-65, I-24, Old Hickory Blvd., Briley Parkway, Ellington Parkway, and Gallatin Road. Bus routes are available to Gallatin, Greenbrier, Hendersonville, Hermitage, Joelton, Mt. Juliet, Old Hickory, Pleasant View, Springfield, and White House.
